On September 26th, the Engineering Training Center (Innovation and Entrepreneurship College) specially invited Xie Jiandong, a senior engineer from the Automation Center of the Communication and Navigation Branch of Shanghai Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd., to give a special lecture in the "Engineering Comprehensive Training A" class.
Xie Jiandong, through a combination of rich case studies and easy-to-understand explanations, systematically introduced advanced maritime equipment technology and its practical application in ocean transportation to the students. He focused on analyzing the positive role of automation technology in enhancing the operational efficiency of ships, improving navigation safety, and reducing operating costs. He also looked forward to the future trend of the deep integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things with the intelligent operation and maintenance, fault diagnosis, and green development of key ship equipment.
This "Enterprise Expert in Classroom" activity has broadened the students' understanding of ship automation and intelligent technology, and also provided them with valuable references for their future professional development and career directions.
