Engineering Training Center (College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship) has always attached great importance to laboratory safety work, on the eve of "119" National Fire Day, at 3 PM on November 3, 2023, a fire combat drill was organized in the workshop site on the first floor, and the students, department safety officers, department directors and center leaders participated in the drill. Before the drill began, Gu Bei teacher of the Metalworking training Department explained the emergency treatment plan of the fire scene in detail.

    After listening and watching carefully, under the demonstration and guidance of teacher Xu Junhui, the central safety officer, the students actually operated the process of self-rescue and escape. This exercise enabled the students to experience the emergency measures in case of fire. At the same time, combined with the working and learning environment of the engineering training center, it was clear which areas were the focus of fire prevention, the placement of fire extinguishers in the building, and the location of escape signs. The fire drill was carried out in an orderly manner.

    Through this drill, teachers and students have improved their emergency handling ability to deal with fire in the practical training environment, promoted teachers and students to pay attention to fire fighting, learn fire fighting, and participate in fire fighting, laying a solid foundation for the fire safety work of the engineering training center, and also made a solid step for the students' safe and orderly practical training and learning.
